I Have An Appointment With My Fears

When today again fear grappled my mind

The anticipation of failure shattered my climb;

The thought of losing my loved ones

Ached through my nerves destroying all the fun;

The discomfort of the comfort zone

Had me linger aimlessly alone!

When jealousy shooted to the stars

With no reason whatsoever near or far;

The hurt of being too attached

Added to the mirthless soul;

And all such enigmatic feelings

In my life created a hole!

I refused to accentuate to all that I feel,

Allowing it to freely flow

But not accepting it to keep me low;

I decided to change into smiles all my tears

Coz today I have an appointment with my fears.
